Definitions
- Mala: to fill or to be full appears 6 times in OT and refers to Caleb each time it appears. Caleb fully followed God.
- Aisthesis: Insight. Walking out the truth that insight brings experience, discernment, to experience the reality of something and applying it to life. Caleb experienced the reality of wholly following God and applied to his life. Mala refers to him only.
God’s wisdom was given to Caleb and he possessed wisdom.
Caleb knew, understood, and saw how to fully, wholly and follow the Lord and he took action and practice. He applied it to his life. He was an Old Testament man practicing New Testament realities.
