Dr. Marvin D. Mitchell
Dr. Marvin D. Mitchell, M.Th. was born in Seattle, WA. He became a licensed and ordained Pastor in February 2003 under the administration of Bishop A.L. Hardy, Pastor of the Rose of Sharon Pentecostal Church in Seattle, WA. Dr. Mitchell founded the Glory House Fellowship Church in Kent WA on January 5, 2003, along with his wife, Co-Pastor Neshella R. Mitchell. Pastor Mitchell is also the father of four beautiful children.
Dr. Mitchell received his Doctorate of Divinity in June 2005, from Bishop A.L. Hardy Academy of Theology in Seattle, WA. Dr. Marvin is a dynamic spiritual leader with many blessed talents such as a preacher, teacher, prophet, life coach, spiritual counselor, author, national and international speaker.
Dr. Mitchell also serves as the CEO/President of Abundant Life Outreach Ministry for Families in Seattle, WA. Since September 1999, Dr. Mitchell has served the homeless, hopeless, and helpless on the street and in the jails. Personal requests and the challenge of a greater need brought Dr. Mitchell and his outreach program to the streets of Seattle and Kent, WA. Dr. Mitchell is known for aiding the urban communities in the areas of life skills and biblical education, community re-entry program’s for inmates, violence prevention and education, income assistance, housing assistance, academic education, and providing social programs that will meet the human and economic needs of youth, teens, and families.
This year in 2012, Dr. Mitchell is sponsoring several conferences and training events designed to provide resources and tools for developing and expanding violence intervention, prevention and education for families in the urban community. Dr. Mitchell’s vision is to bridge the gap between the judicial system, businesses, and the faith-based communities to build a better community response to youth, teens, and families associated with substance abuse, domestic violence and mental health issues.
Dr. Mitchell and the Glory House Fellowship Church’s mission is to build up the body of Christ by preaching and teaching the word of God to present everyone complete in Christ. “Colossians 1:28”
This ministry is committed to seeing the success of families and young people. The Glory House Fellowship Church is a church where people see love in action by demonstrating and applying excellent teaching. The Glory House Fellowship Church is also committed to challenging people to live by the word of God, through an in-depth study of the Holy Bible.
